OMNP Auction Preview: Sotheby’s New York Sale N08483, Prints, 30 October 2008

An additional slew of trademark images from art history’s two great printmakers rounds out October’s Old Master sales at Sothebys. Many of the Rembrandts that are available in this sale are rather affordable, priced at under $10,000 USD while a particularly strong set of Durers ,such as lot 4  “The Dream of the Doctor,” carry heftier, yet manageable estimates from $10-30,000 USD.
